Connect and IT Services

Our IT Services team are ready to assist students and parents with queries relating to student computers and Connect. See below for information and user guides for Connect, how to install student copies of Office 365+ and uploading homework via One Drive, or get in touch with our IT team via email to parent.it@butlercollege.wa.edu.au or telephone 9561 4200 during school hours.
The Connect portal is used for regular communication between teachers, parents and students for course information, homework and learning resources for students. It is also our way of communicating important College and Administrative information to parents and families through regular Connect Notices and E-News bulletins.  Excursion information letters and student's Reports are also available on Connect.

When your child commences at the College, accounts will be automatically generated for both the child and the parent.  Parents will receive an email confirming their login ID (starting with P.....) and a password.  Please email our IT Department at parent.it@butlercollege.wa.edu.au or phone us on 95614200 if you have any issues with your Connect account/login.

Office 365

The Microsoft Office Suite 'Office 365' (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc…) is available for students to download for free from the Department of Education’s student portal. Please read the Instruction Guide below or contact the Butler College IT Services via the email above or on 9561 4200 during school hours if you need assistance.

One Drive

While students are using Connect and Webex for online learning, they may be required to send completed work to their teacher.  In many instances, the file to be uploaded may be too large to email or upload via Connect.  One Drive is another option for students, whereby they upload their document to their One Drive account and then send a link for that file to their teacher via Connect or email. For instructions on how to use One Drive, please read the Instructions below or contact IT Services via the email above or on 9561 4200 during school hoursfor further assistance.
