Cricket 2Since it's inception in 2017, our High Performance Cricket Program has catered for students with a keen interest in cricket, wishing to maximise their potential and further develop skills and knowledge of the game. We offer an opportunity for students to develop and extend their skills in a broad range of technical, tactical and physical aspects of cricket, utilising Cricket Australia’s guidelines for player and umpire development.

Our staff are high-level performers with Level 2 cricket coaching accreditations as well as local and international experience as players and coaches. Utilising their expertise, students are skilled and conditioned in current methodology, techniques and qualifications throughout the years at Butler College. The Program is open to all students in Years 7, 8 and 9 in 2019, at a cost of $150 per year.  All costs are compulsory, necessary to cover our commitment to external providers for the Program.

Applicants must be enrolled at Butler College (meeting all the requirements of the enrolment application process) and attend the College fulltime, with this program operating as a double elective unit in both Semesters of each year. Students will receive professional coaching and play regular matches in Terms 1 & 4, and will have the opportunity to participate in interstate and overseas tours as they progress through the years at Butler College.
