Applications close 16 July 2018

The High Performance Netball Program provides opportunities for talented netball players to enhance their skills and knowledge of netball. This course operates as an elective over two semesters, with four sessions per week. It provides students with specialist high-level tuition in the areas of strength and conditioning, skill development for netball, strategies, and tactics. The program utilises Netball Australia’s development athlete guidelines. Participants in the program will gain coaching and umpiring experiences and have the opportunity to further utilise Netball as a pathway through Senior School courses in Certificate II in Sport and Recreation and General Physical Education Studies in 2020.

The Program is open to male and female students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 in 2019, at a cost of $150 per year. All costs are compulsory, necessary to cover netball resources, specialist coaching, health resources and School Sport WA Netball Competition fees and bus hire.

Applicants for the 2019 Program who are currently in Year 6 in 2018, are required to trial on Wednesday 25 July 2018, after which successful applicants will be notified upon selection for the Program.
