Academic Extension Program Year 7-10
The Academic Extension Program (AEP) fosters the development of like-minded, highly academic students by providing real pathways to their future tertiary education. Commencing in Year 7 and continuing through to Year 10, students experience a highly engaging and challenging program delivered by experienced teachers. Extra-curricular activities are designed to enhance their understanding of the Australian Curriculum, as well as excursions and incursions to develop leadership, self-confidence and problem-solving skills. The study of the Japanese language is a compulsory component for all AEP students, culminating in an invitational tour of Japan in Year 10. Our expectations of students in the Program are high; progress, behaviour and attendance is closely monitored. Places are offered to applicants at the College’s discretion; successful applicants must be enrolled at the College through the Enrolment Application process. To apply:
- Read the Information Letter explaining the application and pre-selection testing processes;
- Complete and submit the Application Form (including copies of the required documents) to College Administration.
Applications must reach Administration by no later than 31 August 2018.
All applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of their application. For more information please contact Deputy Principal, Matthew Paton.
